Sometimes, the best learning happens when we’re all together. Mixed age classes allow families with siblings, neighbor groups of varying age levels, and anyone who’s drawn to the time slot to attend. Educators accommodate powerful and enjoyable music and movement activities for all stages of development, so that everyone is comfortable, engaged, and learning!
Rosalind Cross has been touching the lives of children and families through Kindermusik for over 30 years. Ms. Cross served on the faculty of Anderson University where she taught piano and was first introduced to Kindermusik. She did her graduate work in Piano Pedagogy at USC and studied and performed at Interlochen Center for the Arts. She continues to perform in the United States, including Lincoln Center in New York, and around the world in Ecuador, Peru, and France. Ms. Cross also offers music enrichment to at-risk children and frequently speaks to teacher and parent groups, guest lectures at universities including NYU and Clemson, and has served in Peru, Jordan, Ethiopia, Ecuador, Honduras, and with the migrant farmworker community in the US, helping to establish music programs and train staff, and bringing connection and joy through music and movement. As a mom with grown children, Rosalind has a desire to support young families as they seek the very best for their children. She is particularly focused on compassion, composure and connection, and the class experience provides wonderful opportunities for learning!
Your child will dance, bounce, play and learn as they are caught up in the joy of discovery in our movement and music classes for newborn - 7 years. Babies, toddlers and preschoolers not only find a place to explore, grow and develop cognitively, emotionally, socially and musically, but Kindermusik of Greenville is also a place where families come together to connect, to learn, to support each other, and to make friends! Your child will be noticed, and your child will be loved. We celebrate discoveries, contributions and the special personality of each child so that they know how much they are valued .
