Need something for the whole family? Mixed Age classes are designed for little ones at different developmental levels to make music together. Families build connection, grownups learn ideas for music exploration and play at home, and there’s room for everyone to grow.

Sometimes, the best learning happens when we’re all together. Mixed age classes allow families with siblings, neighbor groups of varying age levels, and anyone who’s drawn to the time slot to attend. Educators accommodate powerful and enjoyable music and movement activities for all stages of development, so that everyone is comfortable, engaged, and learning!

Upon graduating from DePaul University with a BS in Elementary Education, I spent several years as an elementary school teacher working with a variety of age groups. My work as a primary grade reading interventionist gave me specific insight into the development of reading skills in children. After the birth of my own two children, I switched my focus to early childhood and became a licensed Kindermusik educator. I have participated in extensive research regarding early childhood growth and development, with a particular focus on the effects and benefits of music. My sixteen years of experience with young children and babies enables me to provide a loving, safe, and developmentally appropriate experience that honors each child's unique stage of growth, personality, and way of participating.
