The first year was just the beginning! In the second and final year of Kindermusik Musicians, children further develop their foundational music skills while experiencing music, games, and stories from all around the world. The skills they develop in this class to read, play, create, and analyze music enhances their cognitive, motor, language, and social development. All of these enhancements work together to support future musical and academic learning experiences, and success in all areas of life.

Growing up I had several opportunities to learn a variety of instruments. I started playing violin and piano in 3rd grade. Then in Jr. and Sr. High I played in my school band learning both the clarinet and saxophone. Through the various opportunities offered to me, I developed a love for music and musical instruments and upon graduating high school decided to pursue a career teaching music. I attended Maranatha Baptist University in Watertown, Wisconsin where I received my degree in music education with an emphasis in instrument instruction. Apart from teaching level 5 at the Kindermusik studio, I am also the instrument instructor at Tri-City Christian Academy in Chandler, Arizona. When I’m not teaching I enjoy visiting coffee shops, reading, and traveling the world.
