Perfectly paced for those exuberant 1-year-olds, Level 1 will get you moving, but also practice bits of pause to focus. Your child should be nearly walking, but very happy to partner if they are not quite there. Keep on coming until they are fully two. (For families with younger or older siblings, please choose a Mixed-Ages class.)
Give your little one extra confidence to move, groove, and speak! Level 1 classes allow young toddlers to explore new movements, objects, and words, while learning basic music concepts. Families also discover how to create better daily routines with music.
Includes access to ALL of the music & materials on the Kindermusik app for LEVEL 1 while enrolled and a physical book with each new theme as we progress through the school year. Also included are several BONUS Musical Playdates, some with seasonal themes, while enrolled.
Kindermusik Level 1 classes give young toddlers room to explore! This special group experience gives toddlers a chance to learn new movement and language skills through dance, creative movement, echo songs, and more.
Since early childhood, music has interwoven itself throughout the threads of Molly's life. Growing up as the daughter of a college music professor, her youth was saturated with church choirs, school/regional ensembles, and musical theater. While pursuing her bachelor's degree in photojournalism at RIT, she was privileged to study voice at Eastman School of Music's CED. Her photography and editing vocation in newspapers shifted in 2001 as she happily became a stay-at-home mom. Participation in Kindermusik classes with her daughter and son (born in 2003) rekindled her passion for music, inspiring her to become an educator herself. She's delighted to share her contagious sense of fun, love of children and parenting, and the magic of music. We'll experience varying styles, genres, and cultures of music as we engage in movement, rhythm, and vocal activities with our award-winning, research-based, and developmentally appropriate curriculum. Our Mystic space will inspire real connection as we bounce, giggle, twirl, sing, and dance together.
