2- and 3-year-olds have tons of energy and their own ideas. Level 2 classes are all about exploring creativity and enhancing cognitive development through singing, dancing, and instrument play, while grownups learn how to help unpack big emotions with music.
Ready? Set? Go, Go, Go! It’s time to get in the car, row the boat, and ride the rails as we explore all kinds of movement in this transportation-themed unit. We’ll delve into the concept of up and down, have fun with tempo changes, and enjoy bumpy bounces and the challenge of stop-and-go games. We’ll also have a boatload of fun – and learning – as we sing, dance, play instruments, chug like trains and beep like cars. So buckle up, here we go! Monthly tuition includes weekly 45 minute classes, unlimited makeup classes (when available), discounts to select special events, and monthly digital home materials. Tuition will be auto-debited on the 4th of each month. If at any time you need to change or discontinue classes a 15 day written notice prior to next billing date is needed to stop any upcoming payments and can be sent to musicalmomentsjax@gmail.com
Have a very independent toddler? Want them to be more independent? Level 2 classes give toddlers the opportunity to express their own ideas and creativity. They’ll learn new vocabulary, play instruments, and do things “their own way,” while making cognitive strides.
Courtney is Musical Moment's fearless director and an experienced licensed Kindermusik educator. Courtney, a graduate of West Virginia University, uses her B.S in Child Development and Family Studies with additional certifications in infant and toddler development and special education to transform the lives of children through music and movement. These musical experiences will establish foundations for a lifetime love of learning in all areas of development. Courtney will effortlessly guide your class from one activity to the next, helping you understand how your child is developing musically, cognitively, socially, and more. Prior to teaching, Mrs. Courtney was a Kindermusik parent and continues to use the Kindermusik curriculum with her own children. When Courtney is not teaching she and her family (three boys 6 and under) love to visit Disney World or hang out at the beach taking in the warm Florida sunshine.
