Did you know sound recognition begins in the womb? Foundations classes are all about exploring and reacting to new sounds, objects, and movements. Plus, parents and caregivers heighten connections with their babies by learning bonding techniques.
Our Kindermusik classes at Joyful Harmonies Music Studio are available for enrollment throughout the school year, from September 5 to May 14. Families have the flexibility to join at any point during this period. To make it simple for our families, we offer 9 equal payments of $80 per month, charged on the 1st of each month from September to May. This allows for a hassle-free and convenient payment plan while nurturing a lifelong love of learning through music. We kindly ask for a two-week notice if you need to unenroll from our classes. Please understand that once enrolled, refunds are not provided.
The Foundations class is so much more than lullabies and swaying. We teach families how sound exploration, listening activities, and dances help babies communicate, stimulate eye-tracking skills, and learn to move and coordinate new muscles.
Ms. Rachel has a love for music, and working with children, and is excited to partner with Allegro Music School in offering Kindermusik classes to the Lynchburg area. She has been a music teacher for eighteen years and has worked very closely with young children and their families in a variety of settings, including Kindermusik classes. She has maintained a private studio in her home, teaching piano and violin at all levels and ages. Rachel completed a Music B.A. degree at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia in 2016 and completed her Master’s degree in Piano Pedagogy at Kansas State University in May of 2018. Rachel lives in Forest with her husband, Aleks, who is the owner of Lynchburg Endodontics, and their son Liam, who enjoys being a superhero and firefighter. In her spare time, Rachel enjoys playing the piano and violin, staying active outdoors and spending time with her family and friends.

Joyful Harmonies Music Studio: 1101 Floyd Street Lynchburg, VA 24501 The entrance to our studio is on the side of the Church that is parallel with 12th Street. When you arrive, make your way up the stairs to the 3rd floor. Our studio will be to your left at the top of the stairs.
