Did you know that preschoolers have a natural love of music? Level 3 classes use music to boost language skills, confidence, social-emotional skills, and self-control.
Our Level 3 classes start with instrument exploration and lean into how to play music as a group. Preschoolers experience all the excitement of new sounds and independent creativity, while fueling their social-emotional development (and school readiness!) by learning how to work together.
Lindsay Levin, M.A., is a fun-loving, energetic singer and educator with a passion for early childhood music education, an unabashed LOVE for babies and children, and a deep respect for parents and caregivers! Lindsay believes strongly in the Kindermusik curriculum and our parent organization, Kindermusik International, which continually impresses her with its commitment to putting parents and children first and treating all parents, children, caregivers, and educators with integrity and respect. Lindsay served as President of the California Kindermusik Educators'' Association from 2005-2007 and as California State Representative for the Partnership of Kindermusik Educators in 2008. This August, Lindsay was honored to host the San Francisco Kindermusik Conference, which attracted an international crowd of highly committed Kindermusik educators and received rave reviews from those in attendance! We are proud to offer classes at the family-friendly dance studio, Dance Fusion! Classes are held in the tap studio, where the floor is matted for your comfort, and children enjoy the full-length mirror wall as well as the excitement of taking classes in a real performing arts center. Dance Fusion also offers dance classes for Kindermusik graduates. Families from all over the East Bay will find that this studio is easily accessible via Highway 24 and I-680. Materials are yours to keep and enjoy! The materials portion of your registration is nonrefundable. (Please note that if you are taking classes through a Parks & Recreation Department, all refunds are subject to City approval.)
For your convenience, we allow infant siblings to attend the Family Time classes at this location at no extra charge to you. Any additional visitors should be cleared in advance with the program director.
