Is it safe to use my credit card?

Yes! All online transactions are handled with industry-standard SSL encryption. When you enter your credit card number, it is transmitted across the Internet in an encrypted (scrambled) form, then decoded when it gets to us. According to CNN, "The prevalent opinion...is that online credit card use is actually no riskier for consumers than traditional 'low-tech' transactions. We order products online all the time, both as a company and as individuals. To place an order by fax, please send your order (name, address, daytime telephone number and items requested) to 336.808.6050. Include your email address so we may confirm your order, usually within 48 business hours.

How and when are order confirmations sent?

When you place an order on this site, you will receive a screen confirmation. this confirmation will verify receipt of your submitted order. If you fax your order to us, please provide your email address so we can email you a confirmation.

What are my payment options?

We accept American Express, VISA, MasterCard, or Discover.

Does Kindermusik International charge sales tax?

Yes, You will be charged the applicable sales tax for the state of delivery. By law we are required to collect sales tax in the following states: AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, DC, FL, GA, HI, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, KY, LA, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MS, NC, ND, NE, NJ, NM, NY, NV, OK, OH, PA, SC, SD, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, WI.

We are also required to charge tax on orders shipped to Canada.

Can I place an order from the Kindermusik Store if I live outside the US?

Yes, we accept orders from many different countries. If you have difficulty placing an order, please call us at 336.273.3363 to place it by telephone.

Can I change or cancel my order once it is submitted?

Our goal is to provide the highest level of service to our customers, and we ship orders as quickly as possible. This makes it extremely difficult to cancel orders. If you would like to cancel your order, please contact us as soon as possible. We will do everything possible to accommodate your needs. We are unable to change orders. How are items shipped?

All continental U.S. packages are delivered using Federal Express Residential. Orders to Alaska, Hawaii and Puerto Rico will be delivered by Priority Mail. Shipment methods for international orders may vary. Your shipping cost will be confirmed via email confirmation.

Shipping is calculated on the original, not the Sale price.

Shipping costs will be calculated when your order is processed and will be sent to you in an email confirmation (usually within 48 hours).

Shipping for single CDs is $3.20. The shipping charges for orders over $1,499.99 will be calculated by our customer service department after the order is placed.

Can I ship to a different address than my own?

Absolutely! Simply enter the desired "ship to" address on the order form when placing your online order.

What is your policy on damaged or missing items?

We take special care in our packaging to prevent items from being damaged in shipment. We also take great care to ensure we have provided you with the correct items ordered. In the rare occasion a problem does occur, please contact us immediately by email at orders@kindermusik.com or phone 1.800.628.5687 or 336.273.3363 so we may remedy the situation. If you choose to email us, please include your order number along with any other details that would help us track your order more efficiently. We will make every effort to respond to you within 48 business hours.

I am a Parent. What is your return policy?

How do I return an item?

We want you to be happy with all of your selections from the Kindermusik Store, however, if you are not satisfied for any reason, you may return an item within 30 days from the date of purchase. Simply complete the return form that came with your purchase and send it back to us. We will promptly issue a refund to your credit card.

We stand behind the quality of all our products. You may return any item in its original condition, for any reason, within 30 days from the date of purchase. We will gladly replace the item, or issue you a full refund--it's your choice!

I am an Educator. What is your return policy?

  • One replacement order on missing/damaged items will be shipped free per invoice number.
  • You may return At Home Materials at any time provided that they are unopened, unused, and have not been discontinued.
  • Damaged and defective items may be returned for exchange within 60 days of purchase.
  • Fundamentals of Kindermusik may be returned within 30 days of purchase as long as the materials are unused and returned in their original condition.
  • When you ship a return, please use a shipping service that can provide tracking in order to avoid lost shipments. Kindermusik can not be responsible for lost returns.
  • All other Kindermusik items may not be returned, including Teacher Kits and instruments.
  • All returns must include the original invoice number.
  • All replacement items will be shipped FedEx Ground.
